CALIFORNIA SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION

California Southern Baptist Convention is a fellowship of some 450,000 members in approximately 2,300 language and multi-ethnic congregations that cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention, the largest Protestant denomination in America. THE BAPTIST FOUNDATION OF CALIFORNIA

For more than 65 years the core ministry of The Baptist Foundation of California has been raising and managing resources for California Southern Baptist. That purpose remains our vital and vibrant focus as we manage more than $160 Million for Southern Baptist churches, institutions, organizations, and individuals who have established charitable trusts. In just the last 10 years, we have distributed more than $39 Million of earnings from those funds to benefit the Lord’s work.

GATEWAY SEMINARY

Gateway Seminary operates a system of five campuses situated near urban cities of the western region of the United States. We are a theological graduate school that educates men and women to take the Gospel to the nations. Known as one of the most multicultural seminaries in the world, Gateway Seminary’s diversity enables it to equip and challenge students to more effective ministry leadership in the 21st century.

NORTH AMERICAN MISSION BOARD

The North American Mission Board (NAMB) facilitates Missions endeavors in the United States and Canada for Southern Baptist Churches. The JBA partners with NAMB to plant churches, train and equip church planters, encourage evangelism, and coordinate Disaster Relief efforts of our member churches.

INTERNATIONAL MISSION BOARD

The International Mission Board (IMB) is the international missions task force of the Southern Baptist Convention. The JBA partners with the IMB in a number of different ways to assist member churches developing a sending culture and to further participate in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

TRANSFORMING THE BAY WITH CHRIST

In 2013 several leaders from the faith, business, and tech communities began to gather and dream about how people of faith could work together to make life better for every person in the Bay Area—physically, educationally, relationally and spiritually. The outcome became Transforming the Bay with Christ (TBC). We are just beginning but we’re filled with the hope of “what could be” as we dream and work together. We invite you to join us by bringing your passion and talents to make life better for every person in the Bay Area.
